Celebrating 40 Years of TALES/ Storytelling Alberta

In The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy taps the heels of her ‘ruby red slippers’ together and says, “There’s no place like home, There’s no place like home.” To celebrate Storytelling Alberta’s 40th anniversary, we are returning to our roots - our storytelling beginnings - to celebrate the wonderful elders who have guided and nurtured us on a magical story journey through the years. Fittingly, the traditional gift for a 40th anniversary is the ruby! On this landmark anniversary, we celebrate what we have right here in our own backyard! Truly, there is ‘No Place Like Hone!’

So save the date! Join us as we celebrate our past storytelling heroes and set forth on an exciting adventure into the future of the oral tradition.
